The Pafos 2017 Open Air Factory highlights even more spaces and places in the town and region of Pafos, furthering cultural development through beneficial synergies and collaborative performances. The winter programme invites you to travel along to the worlds of opera, classical and traditional music, contemporary artists and multicultural Christmas festivities with a rich repertoire of events and activities,«linking continents, bridging cultures».

"CYPRUS – ISRAEL"
An exciting “musical synergy” between Cyprus and Israel, featuring the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra premiere of the work by the renowned contemporary Israeli composer Nimrod Borenstein’s “The Big Bang and Creation of the Universe”, which exemplifies his very personal compositional “voice”. Israeli maestro Sivan Albo Ben-Hur joins the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra to interpret this outstanding programme, which also features Bruch’s virtuosic and exuberant 1st Violin concerto and Bizet’s youthful masterpiece, his symphony in C major. 
 
There will be a short presentations of the programme by the clarinetist and musicologist Angelos Angelides.

"DANCING PULSE"
Dance Culture Pafos and Pafos 2017 present "Dancing Pulse" the 3rd annual Pafos Dance Night, with a series of short dance performances arranged collectively with the Pafos dance schools, dancers and choreographers. The event brings together young dancers of all ages and from different cultural backgrounds to perform an array of styles from ballet to contemporary and crossover dance.
