Art-song and Piano Recital "Unrequited Love and Partings"

After the successful concert with Fr. Schubert's song cycle Die Schöne Müllerin in May 2010, German tenor Christian Zenker returns to Cyprus for another unique concert with pianist Nicolas Costantinou at Technopolis 20. The recital features Beethoven's To the Distant Beloved and Schumann's The Poet's Love, both dealing with the idea of unfulfilled love. Beethoven's Sonata no. 26 in E flat major, best known with its French name 'Les Adieux' that completes the programme has been inspired by the departure from Vienna of his patron Archduke Rudolph in anticipation of the French invasion of the city.

Technopolis 20 organises a series of classes on the history of cinema with the specialist on history and theory of cinema, Doros Demetriou.
