The Pafos2017 Open Air Factory bids farewell to the first month of the year and continues to highlight even more spaces and places in the town and region of Pafos contributing further to its cultural development through artistic synergies and innovative events. In our winter programme the journey continues linking continents and bridging cultures through the worlds of opera, classical or traditional music and by inviting you to connect with art in action by joining us to add some colour to our city. Wander with us as world travellers through ancient and contemporary art, between west and east, on our way to the European Capital of Culture Pafos2017.

Pafos2017 in collaboration with Starbucks and JCI are extending the opportunity to artists of our community to collaborate, to express their creativity into improving our surroundings and to transform a mundane wall found along the pathway next to Starbucks in Kato Pafos into a vibrant art work that will be admired by our locals and visitors alike.

In cooperation with Pafos2017 and Pafos Municipality the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra presents an evening of beautiful melodic masterpieces by great classical composers.

YOLANTA AND BLUEBEARD ΜΕΤ: Live in HD
A window to the world of opera in a live link between Pafos and the Metropolitan Opera of New York –MET with the co-production of the Polish National Opera of two rare one act projects directed by Mariusz Trelinski.
The romantic tale of Tchaikovsky’s Yolanda, of the psychological awakening of a blind princess and Bartók’s agonizing Duke Bluebeard's Castle in a unique production that includes famous names from the world of opera.
Anna Nebtrenko in the title role as Yolanda, with Piotr Beczala and Alexey Markov, in the roles of the two suitors who claim her love. Also starring Nadja Michael, Mikhail Petrenko and others.
Conductor: Valery Gergiev.
A collaboration of Pafos2017, Cineplex Cinemas and ANT1 Greece and Cyprus.
